  • Fix WSL Root Cause Issue by bypassing users to mandatorily create their own user accounts and passwords.
  • Launcher Prompts Timeout Error For Installing WSL While It Is Still Downloading In The Background With Slow Connection

  Notes:

  • Please update via launcher if using production environment.
  • If user is using UAT launcher, please click 10 times on the version number to switch to production environment.
  • Once Microsoft Defender appears, click more info and "Run Anyway"
  • When "Recovery Required" pops up, please select "Reset WSL Environment"
  • The launcher installation will ask you to restart two times:
    1st Restart - after enabling Windows Virtualization; and
    2nd Restart - after installing the ubuntu disto.
